CHILDREN BORN IN POOR CONDITIONS

Children born into adversity frequently have avoidable illnesses and neglected health problems.

MALNUTRITION & EARLY CHILDHOOD Illness

Children who worry about their next meal, access to clean water, or physical discomfort frequently miss class or do not show up.

LACK OF RESOURCES AND EDUCATION

Youth without education cannot find employment, which increases their engagement in drugs, violence, and gang membership.

INSUFFICIENT JOB SKILLS = UNDEREMPLOYMENT

Many kids living in poverty lack the necessary abilities to find employment, such as drafting resumes, interviewing, or even knowing where to look for jobs.

Making a long-lasting impression

Children International’s initiatives start young and are geared toward children and youth between the ages of 3 and 24, as well as their families, since we know that children who grow up in poverty are in danger of living in poverty as adults. Your sponsorship or donation gives kids access to employment and empowerment programs, pays educational and health care programs, and helps develop community centers, all of which help kids create a route out of poverty for their generation and the one after.
